What We Do
Public Insurance Adjusters
Public insurance adjusters are licensed by the State of New York to work for you, a member of the general public, to evaluate your insurance claim and calculate your payout based on the severity of the loss and your policy coverage. A public adjuster also handles claim payout negotiations between you, the policyholder, and your insurance company.
When you file an insurance claim the insurance company assigns their own adjuster to your case. These professionals want to reimburse you for your claims fairly, but they also want to ensure the insurance company does not lose too much money. Insurance company adjusters are on the insurance company payroll. As such, they don’t work for you and because of that you are likely to receive a lower payout than you would if you hired your own public insurance adjuster.
